Nordic banking giant Nordea bans employees from trading cryptocurrencies

Nordea, one of the biggest banks in the Nordics, has banned its 31,500 employees from trading cryptocurrencies, citing high volatility and inadequate investor protection in the asset class.
Employees who already own cryptocurrencies will not be forced to sell their holdings, although they’re strongly recommended to do so. The ban will go into effect on February 28.
